I’ve been testing an AI research workflow that’s honestly changed how I approach content creation, and I wanted to share it with you all.
The Problem I Had: Spending 4–5 hours researching topics, organizing notes, and trying to figure out what would actually rank. By the time I finished research, I was too burned out to create good content.
The Solution: Using NotebookLM for automated research + ChatGPT for content creation. Here’s the actual workflow:

The Process:
Step 1: Research with NotebookLM
- Drop in 3–5 top-ranking articles or videos on your topic
- NotebookLM analyzes everything and creates a structured brief
- No more jumping between 20 browser tabs or getting lost in research rabbit holes
Step 2: Feed into ChatGPT
- Take the NotebookLM summary and paste it into ChatGPT
- Prompt it to create: video scripts, titles, descriptions, and SEO tags
- Everything is based on actual ranking content, not guesswork
Step 3: Optimize and Publish
- You now have data-backed content that covers what’s actually ranking
- Edit for your voice and style
- Publish with confidence
Bonus: The same content can be repurposed into Shorts, Reels, and social posts in minutes.
Results:
My last video using this method ranked within hours instead of days. The content was tighter, more focused, and actually covered what people were searching for.
Why This Works:
- You’re researching what’s already proven to rank
- AI handles the heavy lifting of organization
- You focus on creativity and delivery, not data mining
- It’s repeatable and scalable
Has anyone else experimented with NotebookLM for content research? Would love to hear what workflows you’re using.
