By skyforbes The most confusing part of the movie to me was the possession of the fake chip and the real chip.
So they steal the real chip, and they create a fake duplicate. Then after the confrontation with Walter in Macau, they regroup in the magic shop and realize that none of them have the real chip. But, they think they can still make Walter believe they have it, and use that as leverage. But Walter didn’t have the real chip either, did he? Or if he did, he didn’t know he had it.
