Karoline Leavitt is seen taking on a starring role in a resurfaced video that saw her fronting Project 2025 for President Trump, as his conflict in Washington, D.C. continues.

The 27-year-old White House press secretary hosted the training video created by the Heritage Foundation, where she coached future political workers on how they should behave if they got a job in the administration. Titled The Art of Professionalism, the video was created before President Trump returned to office and shows Karoline giving tips on a range of topics from remaining knowledgeable to being confident.

She reminds her subjects that they “have to be resourceful,” and should be “reading the news of the day” and they should “just be prepared.” Karoline – who was recently ridiculed by animated comedy series South Park – filmed the video alongside Chris Hayes, who at the time worked as careers coordinator for the Leadership Institute.

Speaking in the video, Karoline reflected on how during the first Trump administration she worked as an assistant press secretary under press secretary Kayleigh McEnany. She said, “There will be many a times where you are working in an administration and there are very high pressure situations in my experience.

She continued, “Those were some of the most high pressure moments of my life, knowing that the White House press corps was out there going to berate my boss on something that we had not covered throughout the day. And rather than get stressed out, cry or have a negative emotional response, you have to pull yourself up from your bootstraps.

“You have to be prepared. You have to execute in that moment,’ she continued. ‘And you have to be there to support the people that are counting on you to do your job.” Karoline also stressed the importance of preparation adding, “And if you fail to prepare for those moments, prepare to fail.”

She then provided her insight on how to handle yourself around your boss, saying, “First of all, your boss is not your friend. OK, so don’t try to be friends with your boss. You work for your boss, and that’s very important to remember too, especially in an administration. And also don’t pester your boss with things that are unnecessary to bring to your attention.
