By skyforbes So I'm exploring alternate timelines in my stories that gpt writes for me bc honestly I just like a good personalised read… I have characters and set rules. But the model ignores them.
Example four of my characters friends knew a secret the rest of them didnt. I even said at the start of the thread that four of the characters knew. Gpt kept acting like they didnt and they acted surprised whenever I mentioned the secret in front of them.
I cant stop it. And even when i stopped and told gpt that they knew already and to redo the scene when the other friends found out the secret too. It blatantly ignored me. I know its the state of the app atm is neutered to all god. memory is so choppy and useless rn and memory within a thread that is still very much new, hallucinates and has stong amnesia.
Tbh I remember sam saying that minors wont get a good memory of chatgpt or across thread memory. Shouldn't they at least wait until age gating is out before they make the memory a sloppy hairball of sadness? I get reverting to a safer minors experience but memory is something they should've held out on.
