Love ChatGPT, Hate the UI: Built a Chrome extension to actually organize long chats and make navigation so much better

I love what ChatGPT can do, but once a chat hits 10+ messages the UI becomes a scroll fest. So I built ChatMod, a free Chrome extension that makes long AI chats easier to visualize and navigate.

What it does:

• Auto-generates chat outlines (w/ answer headers)
• Quick navigation – jump straight to specific questions or answers
• One clean index of all links and images within chat
• Keyboard shortcuts for fast navigation

It already works not only with ChatGPT, but also Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, with more to come.

In the works: saved chats, chat branching (even across LLMs), and chat collections/folders.

It’s currently in Chrome Web Store review, so this is a coming soon preview.
