Helps the rich and cuts aid to the poor
The GOP-led House scheme “helps the rich and cuts aid to the poor”. Republicans, who had been voted into office promising to help working-class voters, were now “teeing up cuts to programs that provide health care and food to the poor.” The plan “instructs the Energy and Commerce Committee, which oversees Medicaid and Medicare, to come up with at least $880 billion in cuts.” — WBUR
Genocide by different means
The Nazis killed millions of people in gas vans or in stationary gas chambers. The victims were people with disabilities and later Jews and other prisoners. A Nazi euphemism, “euthanasia” referred to the systematic killing of those Germans whom the Nazis deemed “unworthy of life” because of mental illness or physical disability.
In 1942, systematic mass killing in stationary gas chambers began in German-occupied Poland. These gas chambers used carbon monoxide gas generated by diesel engines. As victims were “unloaded” from cattle cars, they were told that they had to be disinfected in “showers.” The Nazi guards sometimes shouted at and beat the victims, who were ordered to enter the “showers” with raised arms to allow as many people as possible to fit into the gas chambers. The tighter the gas chambers were packed, the faster the victims suffocated. — Holocaust Museum
Republican scheme for American genocide
How long is a poor, disabled senior citizen with no health insurance likely to live when denied Medicaid? Isn’t this genocide in a different form? You decide.
Elon Musk is worth over $330,000,000,000
Musk donated $290,000,000 to Trump’s campaign.
Republicans led by Mike Johnson are eyeing $880 billion in cuts to Medicaid health care program for lower-income people.
To give rich Americans a $4.5 trillion tax cut , Trump will cut health care for the poor.
Take Away: Call your MAGA rep to demand they vote against the Republican budget that would gut Medicaid and Medicare. Elon Musk is already rich enough.
