By skyforbes It's also looking like most of my existing doctors also take Carefirst CHP Medicaid (at least the ones that are most important to me). But the one thing I can't figure out is what they actually cover. I've never done Medicaid before and the only people I know on it in Maryland are younger and don't really have a lot of health issues.
The main thing I'm wondering about is hearing aid coverage. My current insurance, which is a marketplace plan with Aetna and they are horrible. I'd tried getting hearing aids through my audiologist at my ENT's office and he tried working with Aetna, but they wouldn't pay much at all and I couldn't afford to pay the difference. Does anyone know what coverage they have at Carefirst CHP? I wonder about other things as well, but this is the most important issue.
