Maryland: How long until info is updated on MHC Website?

I discovered that I unknowingly committed to Medicaid before I planned to and so I was eligible for Medicaid effective November. I thought because I hadn't selected an MCO, the process hadn't been completed, so I was quite surprised when I learned that my Aetna marketplace plan had been terminated effective 11/30. My plan was not to start Medicaid until 2026. It was pure luck that I learned all this because I would have gone to my doctor appt next month and not had current insurance.

Anyway – I called up Maryland Health Connection today and they explained what happened. I ended up choosing an MCO and she said that she will send out the red and white card ASAP but it would take a couple weeks to get the card from the MCO most likely. But right now the MHC website doesn't say anything for our MCO.

In addition, my husband got a Maryland Healthy Smiles card this week. I had thought the mail was regarding my son's dental coverage since he has that through MCHP. But I haven't received a dental card and when I was registering my husband for an online account, I couldn't register anything for me – it says it doesn't recognize the information I put. So I'm concerned maybe the dental coverage didn't get added for me.

I'm frustrated. I had a nightmare situation with Aetna these past two years and I really don't want to have more troubles with Medicaid!
