medi cal income limit for biweekly

I recently started a new job that pays on a bi-weekly basis. During my first pay period, I worked more hours than usual, which resulted in a higher paycheck. If that check is multiplied by 2.15 (as some states use to estimate monthly income for eligibility), it would appear that my income is over the limit for Medicaid.

However, this paycheck doesn't reflect my typical income. It's over the limit to make up for my next paycheck which will be significantly lower due to personal circumstances forcing me to work less hours. When looking at the entire month, my actual income will remain below the eligibility limit.

I'm wondering if Medicaid will assess my eligibility based only on this most recent, higher paycheck, or will they take the overall monthly income into account? Should I submit an explanation so they know that this is not reflective of my regular earnings? I’m very young and just starting to learn how insurance policies and income eligibility work, so I apologize if this is a dumb question.
