By skyforbes So I apply for My child (22 Months old) MEDICAID on September 8 2025 ,last months. Because her old medicaid which normally same case with me is end since she is not the newborn anymore.
On the application: Income:
Is anyone in your household employed now or in the last 30 days? I chose : No
( it’s should be Yes, because me and her dad ( not married, live together )are both working)
Is anyone in your household self-employed?
I choose: No
It’s should be Yes (because i’m self employed )
The reason I chose No for both questions because I thought the question is for My Baby girl. ( i know im so dumb😭😭)
The application is Approved and we got the benefit on September.
luckily I Just realized it tonight.!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know i should call and correct it ASAP, and i will tomorrow.
But That case just for September 1 to September 30. ( so i think the case i made mistake is already closed!! ) BECAUSE after I apply on September, I called the case worker asking about “why i can’t see my baby medicaid case in my account like before”. I think because i Mistake did not put any body else in the household for her case that’s why at first it do not link to my account. ( at that moment i did not know i made mistake about the income otherwise i would le the case worker know!).
AND the case worker helped me tranfer baby’s medicaid to my case, starting on October, so right now we are in the same case, i reported the new income of me and the bf, i think it still have her case for counting. So I’m not sure should i still call and make the report since the case already tranfer?
