- BYOVD Vulnerability Update: The update adds to the list of drivers at risk for Bring Your Own Vulnerable Driver (BYOVD) attacks, further strengthening Windows security.
It also addresses several issues in File Explorer, including fixing extra space appearing between items in the left pane and resolving the issue where the search box was cut off when the window was resized to a smaller size.
For display-related problems, it resolves the issue of app windows gathering in the corner of a monitor after sleep, particularly with multiple monitors, and fixes Mica material not displaying correctly during a slideshow background.
Additionally, it addresses lag and screen tearing on secondary displays in full-screen mode, as well as small circle sizes when using the “Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key” option on some displays. The update also resolves an issue with Clipboard history (Windows logo + V) showing no content, even when enabled and content has been copied.
Known Issues:
- Roblox on ARM Devices: Users on ARM devices may experience issues where they are unable to download and play Roblox through the Microsoft Store.
- OpenSSH Service Failure: The OpenSSH (Open Secure Shell) service may fail to start, preventing SSH connections. This happens without detailed logging, and manual intervention is required to run the
sshd.exe
process. Microsoft is investigating and will provide a fix in a future update.
