  • The first trailer for the live action adaptation of ‘MOANA’ released this week, along with the first poster
  • In the trailer we saw Moana, played by Catherine Laga’aia, singing both ‘I Am Moana’ and ‘How Far I’ll Go’
  • We also saw Maui, who will played by Dwayne Johnson just like in the original animated movie, from behind and see him using his powers
  • Other confirmed members of the cast include John Tui as Chief Tui, Frankie Adams as Sina and Rena Owen as Gramma Tala
  • The film is set to release on the 10th July, 2026

  • The official trailer for Pixar’s next film ‘HOPPERS’ released this week

  • The film follows Mabel, voiced by Piper Curda, a 19-year old animal lover whose mind is transferred into a robotic beaver in order to communicate with animals and save their habitat from destruction

  • Other cast members include Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Meryl Streep, Dave Franco, Kathy Najimy and Eduardo Franco

  • This film is set to release on March 6, 2026

  • The official trailer for the third instalment of the Knives Out franchise entitled ‘WAKE UP DEAD MAN: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY’ released this week

  • The film sees the return of Daniel Craig as detective Benoit Blanc who takes on a new case that brings him into the orbit of a charismatic priest, Monsignor Jefferson Wicks, played by Josh Brolin, and his devout congregation. When a mysterious death occurs, Blanc must navigate a complex web of secrets and simmering tensions within the community to uncover the truth

  • Just like the two previous films, this sequel has a star-studded cast alongside Craig including Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, Thomas Haden Church and Jeffrey Wright

  • It will release in select theatres on 26 November, 2025 and release on Netflix on December 12, 2025

  • Director, Rian Johnson, and Daniel Craig are beginning to formulate ideas for a fourth film

  • The first teaser trailer for ‘THE HUNGER GAMES: SUNRISE ON THE REAPING’ released this week

  • Set 24 years before the first film, a young Haymitch Abernathy, played by Joseph Zada, is selected to compete in the 50th Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell, which occurs every 25 years. For this “special” edition, each district of Panem must send twice the number of tributes to the Capitol, who will fight to the death in Hunger Games

  • The cast also includes Mckenna Grace, Ben Wang, Ralph Fiennes, Jesse Plemons, Elle Fanning, Kieran Culkin, Glenn Close, Billy Porter, Iris Apatow, Maya Hawke, Lili Taylor and Kelvin Harrison Jr.

  • Sadie Sink was announced to be playing an unknown character in ‘SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY’. This week, Deadline confirmed in an article about Sink being cast in a new Romeo & Juliet stage show in the West End, that she will return in ‘AVENGERS: SECRET WARS’

  • Kelsey Grammer, who is returning to the role of Beast in ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’, confirmed that he has shared scenes with Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Pedro Pascal’s Mr. Fantastic

  • We had first look images of Christopher Nolan’s ‘THE ODYSSEY’ this week.

  • The images showed first looks at Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Anne Hathaway and Mia Goth in the film
