Multiple problems, CI.dll has lost it’s digital signiture and i cannot attempt to fix this as explorer.exe cannot start up.
For CI.dllStatus: 0xc0000482Info: Windows cannot verify the digial signiture for this file For Explorer.exeApplication Error: The apllication was unable to start correctly (0xc0000ba) Click OK to close the application. Also i have a partitioned Hard Drive and cannot do a system restore as the corrupt files are on C: but windows is booting from D:And since the CI.dll i have not been able to access the F8 repair your computer option. My laptop came with Windows 7 so i do not have a restore disk so I cannot run a repair from there either. If you need any more information I shall try to find it out

Your Laptop would have been supplied with either a restore disk set, or a hidden recovery partition, from which you should have made the recovery disk set using the procedure set out by that Laptop maker.Since you apparently failed to make the recovery disk set you will need to call that Laptop makers support to request the recovery disk set, for which there maybe a small fee. The F8 option is usually used to access the safe mode menu, not a repairIf you have formated and installed to D, usually D would be the recovery partition, so it would appear you have destroyed the means of recovery
