Amazon KPD Rules:
Maintain only one KDP account. Having multiple accounts can lead to a ban.

OK, guilty🙋🏻♀️. This is why my Amazon KDP got banned. I had an Amazon KDP account from my old art blog. I sold a couple ebooks I made that taught some basic painting techniques. When I wanted to start making journals on Amazon KDP as part of The Minted Fox and my woo-woo blog, I couldn’t remember the password to that old Amazon KDP account.
So instead, I created a new account. I hadn’t published anything to the old Amazon KPD in years, and I had no intention of creating anything else on there. So I figured it would be fine just to let that account sit there (I was no longer actively selling the art ebooks), and start fresh with my new account.
Well, it wasn’t fine.
After my second journal was published, I got the ban smackdown.
Having multiple accounts, even if unintentional or due to forgotten login information, can lead to account suspension. Learn from my experience and don’t make this same mistake!

Do NOT make another account if you can’t access your current one.
