By skyforbes I was getting pretty excited yesterday to try out Gemini 3.0. I have two fairly large CSV files containing combined 800k rows of data, and want to compare Gemini deepthink vs 5 Pro. Deepthink either told me it exceeded the window limit or it took forever and not outputting anything, or it said it couldn't read one of the files, or it said "too many people are using deepthink at the moment, try again later". GPT 5 Pro generated the analysis I was looking for within 15min, on the first try.
Then I tried to use Gemini3 CLI. Simply doesn't work. It let me toggle on Gemini 3 but every time I asked it to do something, it told me I didn't have access. I'm seeing a lot of other Ultra subscribers experiencing the same thing.
All in all, very bad experience. I frankly can't justify subscribing to gemini 3 at the moment, if things don't improve drastically.
