My mouth is agape at how dumb ChatGPT is sometimes!

So, I wanted to double check that I had closed all recordsets that I had opened. But instead of going through procedure-by-procedure, I figured: I know! I'll copy all the code from all the modules into a text file and upload it to ChatGPT and have it check. It can do that easily!

So I uploaded a file and asked ChatGPT to double check that all recordsets were closed at the end, in all procedures. Only thing is, I uploaded the wrong file, and CG said it can't read the file.

So I uploaded the correct file and told it I had uploaded the wrong file, and to use this one instead.

Now, mind you, this was a brand new chat, and I had put it in "Thinking" mode. What did CG do? It said, "Got it. I'll keep this a reference file going forward."

So I said, "No, I mean do what I asked you originally but with this file instead."

It got confused and just did a general analysis of the file, which isn't what I asked for.

Keep in mind that this is 3 comments into a brand new chat. And it got confused about what the original request was. In "Thinking" mode.

Simply astounding!
