By skyforbes I'm hoping to find some guidance on how to go about handling what I'm wanting to do. I'm 61, not in good health. I'm on SSDI, Medicare for Disabilty. Medicaid on the MAGI plan with the State, & pay a $ 215.00 spendown to be on full medicaid.
"Little confused about that plan with the state" I've always been on the QMB plan, Medicare tells me I'm on the QMB plan with full Medicaid and I have a part D drug plan still, But; the state shows something different.
When I called the state about what I could have for a cremation plan, they told me a needed to make a payment plan arrangement to a funeral home?
Nothing make sense anymore.
Can anyone tell me if I can pre-pay for my cremation, I don't want any service, I only have my two sons no family. Neither of my sons live here.
Is there away to pay your cremation fees , so if you die in a different state, ( lets say if i was visiting one of my sons) your body can be cremated there and ashes be given to your family member?
I really appreciate any guidance or information you can offer me.
