Job description: Job Title: QA Lab TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a QA Lab Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. This position will have you spending approximately 80% of your time in the laboratory and 20% on the production floor, providing a balanced combination of hands-on lab work and floor interaction.Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and report analytical results of products and raw materials, alerting out-of-compliance results.
• Administer the company’s Quality Program in accordance with customer and company requirements.
• Review and develop QA procedures.
• Regularly review production and receiving records.
• Conduct sensory evaluations, visual inspections, and analyses of raw ingredients and finished products.
• Maintain sample retain library.
• Perform final wash inspections of production rooms.
• Troubleshoot product discrepancies.
• Conduct internal audits of cGMP areas and premises.
• Perform tasks as required by the Food Safety Calendar.
• Conduct environmental analyses and titration of sanitation chemicals.
• Participate in finished goods hold/release system.
• Provide technical support to R&D and Operations.
• Investigate customer complaints.
• Ensure compliance with third-party audits (BRC, Safe Food/Safe Feed, HACCP).
• Create and maintain production documents, including archival storage and certificates of analysis.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge in laboratory procedures, food science, and quality control.
• Experience with audits, GMP practices, and food manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in titration and environmental analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ months of food manufacturing experience.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 – $28.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
