[Notice] Issues with Twitter Login and Twitter Live Streaming in PRISM Due to Twitter API Policy Changes

Hello, this is the PRISM Live Studio team.
We are sharing potential issues with Twitter login and Twitter live streaming within the PRISM app.

On February 2nd (Thu), the Twitter development team announced through Twitter’s official account that the Twitter API will be switched from free access to paid basic tier from February 9th (Thu).

Twitter API (Application Programming Interface)
A set of features that Twitter provides to external third-party services such as the PRISM app. The PRISM app can use these features to provide users with Twitter account login and Twitter live streaming features.

Since the PRISM app was using Twitter’s APIs for free, errors may occur in some functions of the PRISM app when Twitter’s API is converted to paid use.

Twitter announced the change ahead of a week, which is not long enough for third-party services like the PRISM app to be prepared for. Also, information about Twitter’s use of the paid API hasn’t been made public yet, so it’s not possible for the PRISM app to quickly follow up.

Accordingly, the PRISM team is awaiting further guidance as Twitter announced in a tweet. As soon as additional guidance is released, we will review the best way to avoid problems with the app’s functionality and will also quickly share it with you.

Thank you for your support.
