Oregon – Help/advice in figuring out Medicaid situation

I would very much appreciate some advice in my situation before I mess anything up. I’m under 26, live with my parents, and am financially independent with a full time job, not a student. My parents had applied for Medicaid benefits earlier this year and apparently included me in their household when talking to the case worker but didn’t report my job/income since I was on leave caring for my parent at the time. I’m really nervous about this now because although I have not used any Medicaid benefits, we all became eligible. I want to make the proper corrections to ensure I can file independently at the end of year and not affect my parents Medicaid coverage, which they do qualify for given my father is unemployed now (not receiving benefits) as well, also given my mom is disabled from a stroke and needs medical attention. The entire qualifying under parents insurance until 26 is really confusing to me as well because I’m by all intents and purposes paying for over 50% of my expenses now and for tax purposes independent, but also under 26 and living in my parents house and I don’t know how to separate that. Do I call OHP and declare myself independent and explain I’ve been independent and that was a mistake done without ill intent? What would be the potential fallout of me doing this? How should I even phrase this in the call? Will my parents have to pay back benefits they received for their medical expenses for having me on their household and/or lose their coverage? I don’t know what to do and I want to help my parents since English is not their first language and also not face serious legal repercussions for everyone involved.
