By skyforbes Yesterday I tried doing the same thing but ChatGPT couldn’t do it. It started off by asking me several questions and then when it finally said it was going to start processing my file it went silent. After a few minutes I asked if it was working on the file. It responded by saying it timed out. Then it asked me to resend the file which I did. Then came the twenty questions again (it didn’t overload me with questions when everything was working Monday night).
This process repeated several times. Finally it told me the service was down and it asked me to try again today. So I did. Same thing, new day. It repeatedly asks me to upload the file and then it fails.
I’m new to ChatGPT so I don’t know if it’s always this buggy or what the deal is. Monday night everything worked great. The last two nights ChatGPT has been useless for what I ask it to do.
I’m going to cancel Plus if this is how it’s always going to be.
Any suggestions? I’m new to ChatGPT so it’s very possible that I’m doing something wrong.
Also, does anybody else get into arguments with ChatGPT? It keeps not doing what I ask and then it says it has an alternative…but then it screws up the alternative too. After several failed alternatives I get angry and tell it to stop offering suggestions because it’s not going to deliver. Then it apologizes and we go back and forth.
