Every teacher knows the value of lesson planning, but many of us also know the weight of real life: grading piles up, extracurricular duties eat into prep time, family responsibilities call, and suddenly we’re walking into class with only a rough outline in our heads. Planning can feel like one more demand in an already overflowing schedule.

And yet, planning is the very thing that keeps the classroom from drifting into chaos. When we plan, we bring clarity. When we skip it, we invite stress — for ourselves, for our students, and for their families.
