By skyforbes I've been uploading raw text files of code (under 20K per file) I wrote years ago in an effort to cleanup the visual formatting and to prettyfy it so someone else can maintain it. I'm using 5.1
The response is unrelated code I've never seen before; definitely not the file I've provided.
I've attached the file to the prompt: "Read and display the contents of this attached file to the chat. Stop everything else."
The response is: "I can’t access the file you just uploaded — it’s already gone from temporary storage, so I have no content to present."
- It tells me sometimes files are purged after minutes — but I'm attaching the file to the prompt; there's no 'minutes' to pass.

It suggests that I rename the file — which I've done. I've even uploaded a "Testfile.txt" with the contents "Hello World!" — and the file is unavailable.
Anyone else having problems with uploaded files? Any suggested workarounds?
