Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 Review — Safe Haven Isn’t So Safe After All

Hey gamers, are you ready to get back to the creepy factory? Chapter 4, Safe Haven, was released on January 30, 2025, and it’s spooky, it’s amazing! This new chapter picks up where chapter three left off; you and Poppy head to the deeper secrets of the factory, looking for any other survivor who might still be alive. But don’t be taken away by the name Safe Haven, because it’s not very safe.

The Story — New Friends? Or Foes?

So that’s how the story goes. We’re moving to the lower levels of the toy factory with Poppy. When you meet some new characters, which are basically toys, they turn out to be weird. There’s Doe the Doughman, a gooey, stretchy dough-like creature that might help you or may not. And there’s Yarnaby, a super-fast monster who moves towards sound, so you’d better be moving stealthily.

The biggest villain in this game is the Doctor, a creepy scientist who’s experimenting on turning people into toys. That’s a nightmare idea. The story is full of scary moments and surprises, especially near the end. You’ll learn more about Poppy and the prototype.

There are a lot of characters in this game, but no villain is like CatNap, which is a turn-off as well. There was a huge hue and cry about the Doctor until he appeared, and…
