By skyforbes I watched the movie recently, and what was Jim being promoted for, at the ending? He had a few jewels from Silver, but otherwise the Treasure Planet was destroyed. Was he being celebrated for a failed mission? Or was it something completely different? Months probably had passed between the mission and returning home, because the couple characters had children, and that takes awhile. So maybe there was another mission between the two events?
