Rand Paul was on Face the Nation recently and was talking about Trump’s upcoming ‘Big Beautiful Bill.’ Most of what he said was about the debt then the question of cuts to PBS and NPR came up.
He admitted cutting that funding ‘won’t materially change the course of the country’ but then said ‘we should do it by all means.’
He said it was being spent on ‘sex change operations in Guatemala’ and ‘trans opera in Columbia’ but the interviewer, Margaret Brennan, pointed out that they were talking about cuts to PBS and NPR.
He just ignored her and kept talking about why PBS and NPR are unnecessary.
