Readeck review: an easy-to-host read-it-later web app

Finding a good, open-source read-it-later app is one thing; finding one that’s easy to self-host is another. I have used and written good words about Wallabag, but its difficult installation process eventually led me to Readeck.

Readeck is a self-hosted-only service, as the developers don’t provide a hosted solution. They supposedly plan to offer it in 2025, but it’s November already and it has not materialised. This means the only way to try it is to install it yourself. This review will help you decide if that effort is worthwhile.
