Recommendations on female directors in the same vein as Stanley Kubrick and David Lynch?

If this is not the appropriate sub to ask this question, please can you recommend one.

I know r/directors and r/filmmakers exist but they didn't seem appropriate.

So as the question asks, can you recommend any female directors that are similar to Stanley Kubrick or David Lynch?

I understand both directors were unique in what they did, so I'm not even sure how I would categorize them, but if you've seen any of their movies, you'll understand what I'm looking for.
