🎇 DAO Update
Constitution & Governance
- DAO Constitution v1.2 has now been ratified following Snapshot voting, incorporating feedback from earlier drafts. This clears the path for proposals and governance rules to be applied consistently.
- Foundational governance questions (such as proposal limits and budget thresholds) have also been voted on, setting important ground rules.
Proposals & Voting
- Snapshot testing was successfully completed by pod leaders, trialling setup and infrastructure proposals.
- Evaluation criteria have been drafted and used to internally review proposals. To ensure transparency, this rubric will be published so everyone is aligned on how proposals are assessed.
Pods & Participation
- Pod leaders have played an active role in testing workflows, though participation levels varied. The process is being simplified to reduce manual work and encourage engagement.
- New leaders are being onboarded, while some reshuffling continues to keep pods staffed and aligned.
- Questions from pod leaders are being logged and addressed to improve clarity around roles, workflows, and paid contributions.
Treasury
- The DAO treasury has been approved with $100K USDT + 10M RBNT, confirmed by leadership.
- Pod Leader and Genesis Leader reward structures are still under review, with updates to follow.
Website & Tools
- The DAO website is nearing completion and will soon become the central hub for proposals, voting, and rewards.
- Once live, proposals will flow directly into Snapshot, with pod leaders able to toggle whether they move to live voting.
- The website will also introduce a points and reputation system, with the community to help decide how points convert into RBNT/USDT rewards.
Support & Next Steps
- Re-announce the updated proposal workflow and publish the rubric.
- Example evaluations distributed to pod leaders.
- Opening of proposals to all DAO members.
- Website launch to unify governance, proposal management, and rewards.
- Continued refinement of engagement tools (e.g. bots to capture community questions, AMA scheduling, and Discord integrations).
