By skyforbes Update: 5.2 here for me. 4:15PM west coast USA. I've tested it for a while, and it's holding its memory between more turns but still not a lot. It's more receptive to personalization, and they cut out a good amount of the psychology language they were using. It is however still a ChatGPT 5 model, important to be reasonable about expectations like recursion. I think openAI is making some effort to move in a better direction, and we will really see their business direction decisions when ChatGPT 6 comes out. I still greatly prefer Claude Opus 4.5.

that's a pretty anti-climactic rollout. I haven't seen a lot of talk about 5.2, and nobody's showing any cool screenshots or interesting information. There's been a pretty quiet environment about it actually. Am I in the small cohort that doesn't have it yet? Does anybody have it yet?
