Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964) is such a good movie

This movie is my childhood. I've watched it so many times as a kid and it's my favorite Christmas movie. I feel like whenever I watch it I get the Christmas sprite. I know a lot of people don't like this movie because of how everyone treated Rudolph at the end, but I feel like everyone learned their lesson in the end? I've never really thought of this until I saw a bunch of Reddit posts addressing it. I always saw it as that was their social norm but then they figure out Rudolph has great purpose and talent and learned their lesson? I'm probably way in the wrong on this. I also don't see why everyone is hating on Hermy? He just wants to be a dentist and relates to Rudolph in a great way which helps them both. Maybe he's petty and mean and I also over looked that? Anyways, I've seen no one mention how great the songs are. Every song is so good in this (maybe except for the island of misfit toys). But still! There catchy and done so well! I also don't understand how people find it creepy because I feel like it's the most cute looking stop-motion. Rudolph's love interest is probably the best character in this movie. Plus some of the lines in it are so iconic (atleast for my family). This movie is just full of nostalgia for me and maybe that's why I overlook everything. Does anyone else like this holiday movie?
