Seeking Method to “auto switch” to wireless gaming headset when powered on! (Astro A50) Yes I tried the common methods mentioned on google. Set as default.

Yes I tried the whole control panel set as default BUT once I power them off and dock them, the audio does not switch back to my external speakers. It stays on the headset. Then I have to use the sound options in the toolbar to manually select speaker and that makes speaker the new default.. what am I missing?

This is an issue I have been revisiting from time to time for about a year now. My buddys computer auto connects to his astros when he turns them on and when they are not detected or he turns them off, windows automatically switches back to his external speakers. He tells me he is not sure how or what he did to make that happen, he says that is just how it was when he got the computer. I believe him, he is not a tech savy fella at all. He owns an iBuyPower prebuilt from Best Buy.

Anybody have any idead? I do not want a hotkey swapper. The key word here is AUTO SWITCH. When my computer detects my Astros are turned on, I want the audo output to AUTOMATICALLY switch to them. There has to be a way. Any tips are appreciated! Thank you all in advance!!
