By skyforbes Gemini 3 feels like a doctor with another appointment who's trying to hurry you to get you out the door; knows a lot, can accomplish a lot, but doesn't have the time or bandwidth. I'm on a paid Pro plan and I found Gemini 2.5 highly reliable for a lot of things, and it was my primary deep research tool. 2.5 Research reports were excellent, and I could continue the conversation in the same chat and get further analysis, clarifications, etc. Gemini 3 reports finish much faster than 2.5, but they're not as detailed or well thought out. When I try to continue the conversation after even just one report, it often loses its mind…doesn't know what I'm asking, ignores my new prompt and runs another deep research report in response to my original prompt, stops working, etc… What's going on?
