By skyforbes My wife and I watched Rental Family tonight with Brendan Fraser and we both loved it. I'm a huge Brendan fan and now she loves him too.
I've seen "The Whale" in the past and was completely blown away and REALLY want her to watch it with me. However, shes extremely hesitant to watch it because she knows that it entails a woman's complicated relationship with her father, but is considering watching it after seeing Brendan's performance in Rental Family.
Would it be "cathartic" for her to watch it, or do you think it might be triggering?
