Single Sentence Movie Review (Horror for Halloween!): Creepshow (1982)
For my money, there is simply no better movie to watch on Halloween night (read as [while singing]: ‘The most wonderful yime of the year”) than the original 1982 Creepshow, where you will find Stephen King’s writing (and acting!) and late-great George A. Romero’s direction at the height of their powers, mixing exquisitely the dissonance of gore, dark views on human nature, Dario Argento color schemes, misogyny and humor so excellently well.
