So about this Metroid Prime 4 amiibo music paywall

I'm probably beating a dead horse at this point, I had heard murmurings of it yesterday. I was nervous going in from the previews. Turns out Miles was indeed just a silly little tutorial goofball and he even says when you go to the next area that he's going to F off and you can contact him. Great, super enjoying the game.

You then do the next area, and minor spoilers, but its a factory and as you gradually restore power the soundtrack changes and there's this sweet metal guitar mixed in with classic Metroid prime music and it's genuinely fucking sick. You get your bike, it actually controls fine, pretty fun actually, so cool, that's not an issue either.

The issue is that after that sick level with the awesome music you get spit out onto this desert that, well, is a barren desert and the ONLY music playing the entire time is just this weird low whisper humming thing I don't even know what. I don't want to be here, it just makes it so boring, like just let the awesome guitar metroid music play while I'm driving around your boring desert and it would immediately be like 100x better. If you're going to lock music for this area behind a paywall don't make your music for the area genuinely suck, especially right after some of your best Metroid music.

Rant over, I'm going back to race to the next area.
