Every time I open my feed, someone’s “making $500 a day using ChatGPT.”
There’s always a video with the same formula: “No skills needed. Just prompts + Canva + AI = passive income!”

And I sit there, staring at my coffee, wondering — if this were true, why isn’t everyone already retired in India?

It’s not that AI can’t help. It absolutely can. But what’s happening online right now isn’t empowerment — it’s illusion.
A mirage of freedom built on recycled prompts, overhyped tools, and dreams that sound easy because they’ve been optimized for engagement.
