I have no emotional connection to any of these characters or any of there problems but at the same time they display these traits so well you can feel the characters. Mary is one of the craziest story's being that not only did she lose a kid but her grief shows just how much her song fought for what he had, it's almost like there describing him having a hard time because he was discriminated against but they never actually say that. Mr hunnman is also a really great example of how even the meanest and most stuck up people have the nicest hearts. He originally just seems like a strictler but you come to find that he is just doing what he was raised on. Mr Tully is definitely the most interesting, being that he's the main character but his dad is pretty much the only one talked about for most of the show. His mom and Stanley do play a decent role but it just sets up the beginning and end of the show not much more. I really do love this movie and wanted to make this hoping someone else might find this and like it as much as I do.
[spoiler] I am now making it traditional to watch “the holdovers” every year around Christmas time and wanted to say a few things about this amazing movie
