“Taxi driver (1976)” A Deep Dive into Psychology Turmoil

One of the most powerful scenes in the film for me, the silence, the tension, the broken connection with the world. Travis loneliness just bleeds through the screen.
I've always felt this scene says so much without a word. Travis doesn’t speak, yet everything inside him is screaming. The gun, the silence, the romantic movie playing in the background — it’s like he’s completely disconnected from the world, just watching it drift away. One of the most powerful depictions of internal collapse I’ve seen on screen.
