Job description: Title: Test Automation Engineer with Strong DevOpsLocation: Phoenix Client – OnsiteContractThe top three required skills for this position are:1. Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using Cypress/Playwright for web and API testing.2. Experience in testing applications built with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL.3. Building and maintaining integration with CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable automated testing using Clienture DevOps and GitHub actions.We are open to considering junior developers who demonstrate a passion for development and processes.Here are some additional nice-to-have skills and experience:– Familiarity with Dynatrace (APM/monitoring), Mezmo (LogDNA) (log aggregation), BigPanda (incident intelligence), and Nucleus (security & vulnerability management).– Understanding of production observability and incident management concepts.– A keenness to learn, grow SRE skills, and take ownership across both testing and reliability domains.– A passion for improving processes and building reliable systems.– The ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal guidance.– A strong background in quality engineering, with a solid understanding of automation best practices.– Familiarity with SRE concepts such as monitoring, alerting, and incident response.– Experience with navigating and managing resources in Clienture cloud and Kubernetes environments.– Defining and executing comprehensive test strategies for new features and services.– Implementing and managing CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or other GitHub-integrated tools.– Conducting regression, performance, and security testing.– Collaborating with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality releases.– Participating in the SRE team’s daily operations, including system monitoring, alerting, and incident response.– Implementing post-deployment validation, health checks, and release safety mechanisms.– Helping define and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets.– Contributing to reliability tooling, observability improvements, and performance diagnostics.– Participating in blameless postmortems and proposing solutions to improve system stability.
