A very light-hearted drama

I just watched the Thai BL series Revamp: The Undead Story starring Boun and Prem, and I was disappointed. I had high expectations for this drama, and this series did not meet them. Boun and Prem have strong chemistry, but the plot of this drama was weak and inconsistent.

This drama tells the story of Ramil (Boun), a vampire who is trapped inside a painting. Pun’s (Prem) blood will finally set him free. Pun is the owner of an antic shop, and he is a vampire hunter in secret.

The plot of this drama was very intriguing. I thought this series would be dark and mysterious. I wanted to see Boun and Prem in a dark and mysterious series. But this series was not dark; it was a very light-hearted series.

I had high expectations for this drama. I really wanted to see Boun and Prem again in another drama. I have been their fan since the series “Between Us,” and I was excited to see them in a vampire fantasy. But after finishing this series, I was disappointed that I was given a weak project.

The whole storyline was a mess. I really hated the pacing, switching from intense drama to comedy. Boun and Prem have incredible chemistry, but sadly, they could not bring it in this series. I felt their scenes were a little boring.

I felt like certain subplots, like vampire hunters, needed more screentime than what they were given. If you want to see Boun and Prem again, I would say just watch it. It is one of those series you would watch mainly for the cast.
