Check out my favorite greige paint colors all from Benjamin Moore.
Towards the end of last year, you’ll probably recall how we added simple wall moulding to our dining room walls and I was looking for the perfect greige color to paint the panels in. We decided on Edgecomb Gray as it looked best in our home but there were so many close contenders that I thought I would share them with you today.
But first, what color is GREIGE?
Greige is not beige and it’s not taupe. It’s somewhere in the middle of the two. It’s the perfect mix of not being too gray or too brown. If you’re looking for a soft neutral that works well with grays and browns in your home, you’ll absolutely love greige!

The Best Greige Paint Colors
Benjamin Moore’s Pale Oak was used on these kitchen cabinets designed by Andrea McQueen. Such a warm and inviting kitchen because of this paint color.
Revere Pewter was painted on these beautiful cabinets from Studio McGee. The color is stunning and harmonious with the gold fixture and hardware.
My friend Deb from Seeking Lavendar Lane used Benjamin Moore’s Stone Hearth on all the trim, interior doors and beams in her home. I love the contrast against the white walls and it makes the whole room feel cozy.
Classic Gray was used on the walls of this beautiful renovation by Scout and Nimble. I didn’t put a paint sample of Classic Gray on my dining room wall and now I wish I had! It’s a beautiful light greige color.
I love these painted floors by my friend Liz of Liz Marie Blog. She painted this harlequin pattern on her mudroom floors with Feather Down (the lighter greige) and Grant Beige (the darker greige). Perfect statement rustic look for Liz’s farmhouse.
Studio McGee painted their own kitchen cabinets Natural Cream by Benjamin Moore. Such a beautiful creamy color full of texture and warmth!
Wind’s Breath is so close to Edgecomb Gray and it was one of our three final paint contenders. I love how Erin from Elements of Style pulls together this cozy room.
Susan from Saw, Nail and Paint painted her stylish living room in Balboa Mist. The color works so well with whites and natural textures.
Collingwood was the paint color of choice in this sophisticated great room designed by Vivid Interior Design. It’s such a beautiful, warm greige.
I painted my own dining room panels with Edgecomb Gray and couldn’t be happier.
