By skyforbes So does the eye count as a cult, underground organization, secret society, all the above, or something else?
Because I saw the movies, and while I know that, at some point, they refer to The Eye as a secret society of magicians; they still act more like members of an indoctrinated cult than of a secret society: answering all calls regardless of whether or not they already left; pledging complete loyalty to it without even knowing a single member besides one another (first movie); wondering, not in fear but in excitement and genuine curiosity, if the eye is watching them at all times, and then that being confirmed to be true, and they still don't mind it and are actually hyped about it (second movie); and so on.
It just doesn't seem like your average secret society to me.
What do you guys think?
