By skyforbes I was never really sold on Pragmata. Nothing about it really seemed all that appealing to me and it just felt like vaporware, so I kind of tuned it out. But, the demo was available on Steam, so I figured "why not". It's a short demo, but it sold me on the gameplay. The puzzle like strategy, combined with very satisfying shooting combat is just straight up awesome.
That being said, the dialogue and performances are pretty damn hokey. But not really any worse than a Resident Evil game. So I'll probably be able to look past them to enjoy the gameplay and atmosphere.
A very strong showing for a game that I didn't think I'd have any interest in picking up.
