By skyforbes Films like Duel, Sorcerer, Dead Calm, Breakdown, Roadgames, etc, where the basic premise is “here’s a limited cast of characters, they’re on a boat/truck in the middle of nowhere and nobody’s coming to help but themselves” idea is just absolute perfection to me.
It’s something i wish we’d see more of, but i get that as tech gets better it’s less convincing of a storyline to go with.
I think the idea works better in thriller than horror too because it just helps you keep the suspense a lot longer too.
