This Netflix movie isn’t a straight up adaptation of the plot of The Twits and it adds a plot about some magical creatures, but the spirit of the novel lives on in this adaptation. In fact, I dare say this is the Dahl movie with the most spiritual fiber of all adaptations, as it retains the nastiness of the titular characters and most importantly the grossness of beards that inspired Dahl to write the novel.
The animation is 3D and while bubbly at times it really drives home how nasty and dirty the titular twits are.
Overall a strong recommendation.
