Ever wonder why TikTok hasn’t been banned yet? Well, as it turns out, there are a lot of reasons why it was delayed. In spite of Biden signing the TikTok ban in 2024, it has been delayed three consecutive times.
I previously reported that a Pennsylvania-based billionaire had influenced the TikTok debate. Specifically, the Trump administration had once wanted TikTok banned, but things changed.
According to new campaign finance reports, the Pennsylvania billionaire, Jeff Yass, made a large donation to Donald Trump weeks before the president flopped and changed positions about eliminating the app from the U.S..
Not only has Yass been against the ban, but he is also an investor in the Chinese-based app. What is still unknown is what will happen in this final deadline due to expire in September when TikTok is upon for a ban or divestment.
