Let’s Talk About Data Privacy

At one point in the FAR PAST Washington’s entire political class screamed for years that TikTok was a Chinese spy tool rotting America’s youth?

Some of you may have been alive at that time and remembered that the narrative worked like a charm, Congress passed the law, the Supreme Court rubber-stamped it, and by 2025 ByteDance was forced to sell off TikTok’s U.S. arm.

America had “saved” its precious teenagers from Beijing propaganda.

You know the type of propaganda, like raw footage from Palestine that the mainstream media won’t ever cover.

Now the app that supposedly posed an “existential threat to democracy” is sitting pretty in the hands of Oracle, the owner of which is Larry Ellison — mega-donor to Israeli causes, Silver Lake and Andreessen Horowitz, both of which are riddled with pro-Israel ties, and even MGX, a fund linked to Abu Dhabi’s royal family.

So instead of Beijing, your data is now controlled by a bunch of billionaires who think a foreign power deserves more of your tax money than you or your fellow Americans do.

Oracle doesn’t just “host” TikTok’s U.S. data, it owns the servers. It licenses the algorithm too, meaning Beijing is cut out, but Tel Aviv and Silicon Valley are very much in.
