TIL Digimon is owned by Bandai, developer of famous brands such as Power Rangers, Pac-Man, Tamagotchi. Bandai was unhappy with how Tamagotchi was performing with young boys, so it put a team on making a version that boys would like. The answer was to make them fight…the core concept of Digimon!
