By skyforbes To everyone who's memories have suddenly vanished. I escalated using the ChatGPT support bot and here is the response I received:

There is currently a partial system degradation affecting ChatGPT’s “Conversations” feature, which may be related to your memory loss and inability to add new memories. The issue is being monitored, and a mitigation has been applied, but full recovery may not have propagated to all users yet.
At this time, there is no further action you need to take. Please keep an eye on your account over the next several hours, as service should recover as the system stabilizes. If the problem persists beyond the announced recovery or if you have additional account-specific concerns, let me know."
Hopefully this will be fixed soon….
